Overview
About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated graduates to join our Quality Engineering team as ETL Test Engineers / Test Automation Engineers. In this role, you will contribute to software testing and automation initiatives, collaborate with QA and development teams, and gain hands-on exposure to automation frameworks and testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automation test scripts
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand requirements and design test cases
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
- Debug test failures, analyse logs, and report defects
- Maintain and improve test automation frameworks
- Write SQL queries for database validation
- Participate in agile ceremonies and continuous process improvements
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in Python programming (loops, functions, OOP concepts)
- SQL queries for data validation
- Understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies (manual and automation)
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Knowledge of Git or other version control systems
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Basic understanding of API testing (Postman, REST API)
