Overview
About the Role:
Qualcomm is seeking a passionate Software Test Engineer to join its engineering group. This role involves owning test execution and automation, creating quality test reports, and collaborating with teams across geographies to address technical issues and provide support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and track test automation processes and drive them to completion.
- Generate detailed test reports, including defect analysis and tracking.
- Collaborate with global test and development teams to resolve technical issues.
- Execute tests through automation suites and debug issues during test runs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Fresher or less than 1 year of hands-on experience in system software testing.
- Knowledge of wireless protocols, particularly IEEE 802.11 11ac/ax/be.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as C++, PERL, PYTHON, TCL, or shell scripting.
- Experience with software engineering tools like bug tracking and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with system-level debugging.
- Ability to work in a global team environment.
Technical Skills Required:
IEEE 802.11 11ac/ax/be, TCP/IP, C++, PERL, PYTHON, TCL, shell scripting, bug tracking tools, networking protocols
