About the Role
Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking an Associate Engineer to join its Cloud ML Data Center Test Engineering team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In this role, you will contribute to testing for the Qualcomm Cloud AI100 platform, focusing on software and firmware features.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute tests for software/firmware features.
- Enable automation for test execution, reporting, and bug analysis.
- Perform system-level testing and root cause analysis for complex issues.
- Collaborate with development and architecture teams to understand accelerator features and create production-grade solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages and OOP concepts, particularly Python and Shell Scripting.
- Knowledge of ML/DL/LLM architectures and AI inferencing solutions (e.g., vLLM, Triton, Dynamo).
- Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude and eagerness to work in a high-calibre mixed software/firmware development team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 0–1 years of experience in embedded platform testing (internship experience in Cloud AI/ML is an advantage).
