Associate Engineer - Modem Development

Qualcomm is seeking an Associate Engineer to support modem and software development initiatives. The role involves designing, developing, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software solutions for next-generation products.

The engineer will work closely with systems, hardware, architecture, and test teams to build system-level software solutions and support performance and interface requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, modification, and validation of embedded and cloud edge software and applications.
• Analyze software requirements and user needs.
• Design and implement small software features for products and systems.
• Participate in coding, unit testing, debugging, and integration activities to help ensure timely project completion.
• Assist with code reviews, regression testing, and issue triaging to maintain code quality.
• Collaborate with project teams to achieve development objectives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for software projects.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• 1+ year of experience working with database management software.
• 1+ year of experience with APIs.
• Experience using Git, Perforce, or other source code management systems.
