Position: Site Reliability Engineer - Intern
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration
- Understanding of networking concepts
- Familiarity with open-source technologies, tools, and cloud services
- Awareness of best practices in IT operations for high-availability services
- Proficiency in Linux networking (ip, iptables, ipsec)
- Experience working with MySQL databases
- Basic coding/scripting skills (Perl or Golang preferred)
- Experience with automation/configuration management tools (SaltStack or equivalent)
Preferred Skills
- Cloud services implementation on Linux using KVM/QEMU
- Experience with DCOS (Mesos & Mesos frameworks)
- Knowledge of Aerospike (NoSQL)
- Galera clustering
- OpenBSD familiarity
- Occasional data center-related activities
