Job Description
Oracle is hiring a Technical Analyst 1 - Support to join its global support team. As a Technical Solution Analyst I, you will investigate front-end application issues by capturing logs, applying fix tools, testing workflows, and collaborating with end users. You will also leverage backend tools such as querying databases, analyzing log files, updating database fields, and cycling servers to resolve client issues.
You will be responsible for documentation throughout the investigation lifecycle and for ensuring prompt resolution by prioritizing incidents based on severity and client impact. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is a critical part of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical investigations on front-end and backend systems
- Capture logs, shadow users, test internal/external workflows
- Utilize backend techniques such as querying tables and server cycling
- Document all findings, actions, and solutions clearly
- Prioritize issues based on severity and business impact
- Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams
- Provide on-call support and work in rotating shifts as required
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in application support or technical support
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to application support, incident management, and customer service
- Knowledge of SQL and basic troubleshooting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work the 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST shift
- Flexibility to work in different shifts and handle on-call responsibilities
