About thrade Team

The Global Finance Technology team is responsible for transforming the financial systems and data infrastructure that support accounting operations across the organization. The team is building modern, cloud-based finance platforms using Oracle ERP Cloud to support global financial processes.

Role Overview

This role provides the opportunity to work on large-scale Oracle ERP Cloud implementations while supporting business-critical accounting functions. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and accounting teams to translate financial requirements into functional system designs and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with configuration and usage of Oracle Cloud FAH and related financial modules.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and accounting teams to convert business requirements into functional specifications.
• Support the design and validation of eCommerce financial integration flows from source systems to accounting platforms.
• Participate in requirements gathering, testing activities including UAT, issue analysis, and production releases.
• Review accounting outputs such as journals, ledgers, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Contribute to documentation, process flow creation, and end-user training materials.

Experience and Qualifications

• Newly qualified Chartered Accountant or MBA with 0–1 years of post-qualification experience.
• Articleship or internship exposure in audit, controllership, or ERP-related projects is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting processes including journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, P&L, and balance sheets.
• Knowledge of accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and financial closing activities.
• Familiarity with GAAP principles.
• Ability to analyze accounting data, identify anomalies, and interpret financial results.
• Interest in enterprise accounting systems and Oracle ERP Cloud implementations.
• Experience working with documentation, requirements, and cross-functional collaboration.
