About the Role
Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is driving the future of connectivity, pushing the limits of network capacity with innovation and technical expertise. As part of the Optical Networks division, you will contribute to AI-driven data center solutions and next-generation networking technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that designs and delivers advanced embedded systems and communication frameworks.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and own L1 applications (control path and data-path), device driver software, and related features.
  • Work closely with requirements and customer account teams to deliver solutions with strong customer focus.
  • Design and implement system-wide impact features from architecture to delivery.
  • Work on software system design, inter-process communication, threading, and other OS concepts.
  • Develop device drivers, boot processes for x86 processors with multi-OS support, BSPs, and board bring-up.
  • Handle PCI, PCIe, SPI, DMA, I2C protocols, BCM switch programming, and IP Stack drivers.
  • Participate in automated testing and continuous integration pipelines.
  • Provide E2E solutions for communications frameworks spanning packet and optical domains.
  • Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot and resolve live issues.
  • Deliver new features on time with quality, following TDD and automated testing practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong programming skills with embedded/Linux development experience preferred.
