Role Overview
Credera is seeking a Monitoring / NOC Associate Engineer with up to two years of experience to support the IT Operations team. The role focuses on monitoring systems, applications, and infrastructure to maintain stable operations and ensure rapid response to incidents.
The engineer will identify alerts, carry out initial troubleshooting, and escalate issues to the appropriate teams when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor production systems, applications, servers, and network infrastructure using monitoring tools.
- Detect, investigate, and respond to alerts and incidents promptly.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting and escalate issues to the relevant teams when necessary.
- Track and update incidents through the ticketing system.
- Conduct routine system health checks and operational monitoring activities.
- Maintain incident records and assist with basic root cause analysis.
- Follow defined operational procedures and escalation protocols.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to maintain system stability.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Linux or Unix systems.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic and AWS CloudWatch.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS.
- Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS or Azure is beneficial.
- Familiarity with ticketing platforms like Jira or ServiceNow.
This role operates in a shift-based monitoring environment supporting 24x7 operations.
