About the Internship
We are hiring Software Development Engineer (SDE) Interns who are passionate about product development and eager to contribute to a rapidly growing ed-tech platform. As an SDE Intern, you'll work in a dynamic startup environment and collaborate with a team of experienced engineers, designers, and product managers. You'll be involved in developing new features, optimizing system performance, and contributing to cutting-edge AI-powered education technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications and backend APIs
- Contribute to building and enhancing custom compilers and internal developer tools
- Improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of our AI-driven proctoring systems
- Collaborate with the product and design teams to implement new features across the tech stack
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and debugging processes
- Contribute to performance tuning and optimization of system components
Required Skills
- Proficiency in one or more of the following:
- Frontend: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Redux
- Backend: Python (Django), Golang
- Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA)
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or personal project experience with React or Django
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered coding tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, PyTest, or Go test
- Exposure to building compiler tools or contributing to performance optimization projects
