Job Summary
The Support & Operations Engineer ensures smooth data network operations. This role involves developing and maintaining robust LAN/WAN solutions, addressing client requests, and troubleshooting existing systems to boost performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement network configurations and protocols using LAN/WAN technologies to meet project requirements and maintain high quality and efficiency standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot existing network systems to resolve issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and develop new features or enhancements in network operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes to maintain comprehensive records and support knowledge sharing.
Skill Requirements
- Basic understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and protocols.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of network security principles and practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Other Requirements
Optional certifications: CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
