Overview

Role Overview:

As a software engineer in the Index Engineering team, you will be part of a delivery-focused IT group responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining platforms for internal and client-facing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new product distribution mechanisms using Java and web technologies.
  • Design secure and scalable server-side applications.
  • Work on data-intensive applications handling large time-series datasets.
  • Apply software design patterns and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with a skilled team to enhance the product generation and distribution platforms.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, data structures, and algorithms.
    • Proficiency in core Java, including collections, multi-threading, performance monitoring, and debugging.
    • Experience with Java frameworks such as JDBC, Spring, Hibernate.
    • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and web standards.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Passion for developing high-quality software solutions.
