Job Description
MetLife is hiring a Jr. Software Platform Engineer to join our hybrid team in India. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about Core Java development and eager to build scalable and cloud-based mobile applications. You will be part of a dynamic Agile environment, contributing to the design and development of critical systems and services.
Responsibilities
- Design and build complex cloud-based hybrid mobile applications from the ground up
- Develop scalable, resilient microservices and backend systems
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment and integration
- Create modular, reusable, and reliable UI components for enhanced user experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across all levels
- Maintain high code quality by adhering to best coding practices and standards
- Own the systems you work on—demonstrating initiative, responsibility, and technical leadership
- Analyze and solve complex problems through effective planning and testing
- Contribute actively to all stages of the software development lifecycle
- Communicate clearly with both internal and external customers
Eligibility
- Eligible Batches: 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025
- Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance/Accounts, or a related discipline
Experience
- 0 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Core Java, Advanced Java, and Microservices
