KPMG is Hiring Associate 1 (Kochi) | Tax Compliance

Roles and Responsibilities

• Learn and apply tax compliance process standards across multiple corporate and partnership projects, from initiation through completion.
• Support tax data gathering and document management for preparing basic tax return filings and deliverables. Analyze and process tax and financial data using one or more of KPMG's proprietary tax technology tools to produce compliance deliverables for clients.
• Handle and complete multiple tasks within set timelines and in line with quality control standards.
• Work with the engagement lead through effective communication and collaboration to meet shared goals that support quality client service.
• Take part in periodic training and professional development.
• Apply skills gained in training to improve the use of tax technology and the quality of tax deliverables and services.

Federal and State Tax

• Populate simple single entity federal, state and international tax returns using tax software and tools, with provided inputs for complex items.
• Self-review your work to produce a quality work product with minimal errors.
• Apply problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues of simple complexity.
• Apply knowledge from training programs to interpret a range of tax concepts.
