Job Description

Kaplan is seeking enthusiastic and skilled individuals to join its Associate Software Engineer Internship Program, with a pathway to full-time employment. Key Responsibilities

• Understand and participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Write, test, and document code for new and existing applications
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues in a timely manner
• Deliver reliable and high-quality software to end-users
• Write test cases for various testing types such as functional, integration, and performance testing
• Improve system and process documentation
• Collaborate in an Agile environment and actively participate in scrum ceremonies
• Adhere to coding and architecture standards across the team

Required Technical Skills

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong foundation in software development principles and object-oriented programming
• Ability to write unit tests and debug code effectively
• Familiarity with Agile workflows and team development tools (e.g., Git, Jira)
• Awareness of architectural principles including scalability and modularity

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on exposure to front-end and/or back-end development technologies
• Understanding of modularization and object-oriented design patterns

Compensation

• All full-time positions are paid at least $31,200 USD per year (equivalent INR based on current market)
• Eligibility for performance bonuses or commissions based on role
