Position: Junior Automation Test Engineer
Location: Sarjapur, Bengaluru, Karnataka
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days in office per week)
Shifts: 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM IST, 2:30 PM – 9:30 PM IST, 9:30 PM – 6:30 AM IST
CTC: ₹5 LPA (Fixed)
Key Responsibilities
- Understand project requirements and testing objectives.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and scripts.
- Perform manual and automated testing across applications.
- Identify, log, and track defects to closure using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports.
- Adopt and implement industry best practices in testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python programming.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and queries.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands and scripting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
