About the Role

Bajaj Finance Ltd is seeking a motivated Junior Analyst to join its Cyber Risk Unit within the Information Security department at the Pune Corporate Office. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or individuals with up to one year of experience in IT security operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Brand Protection & External Risk Monitoring:
  • Identify and monitor risks such as phishing domains, fake websites, mobile apps, and impersonation attempts.
  • Review alerts from brand protection and digital risk monitoring tools.
  • Validate alerts to filter out false positives and escalate confirmed incidents according to incident management processes.
  • Track takedown actions and monitor closure status.
• Reporting, Documentation & Compliance:
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on API governance and brand monitoring activities.
  • Maintain trackers, dashboards, and evidence for audits and reviews.
  • Follow standard operating procedures, escalation matrices, and security policies.
  • Support internal audits and regulatory reviews by providing necessary data and reports.
• Coordination & Support:
  • Collaborate with application teams, platform teams, and vendors to ensure timely remediation and closure of issues.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to track timelines and resolution statuses.
  • Assist senior team members during security reviews and assessments.
• API Governance & Monitoring:
  • Support governance and monitoring of APIs, ensuring adherence to security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• 0–1 years of experience in IT, information security operations, or security monitoring.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internships or coursework are welcome to apply.

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of phishing, brand abuse, and common cyber attack techniques.
• Knowledge of domains, URLs, DNS, and internet-facing assets.
• Proficiency in Excel and reporting dashboards.
• Basic understanding of APIs, REST concepts, endpoints, and authentication.
• Awareness of API security concepts including API keys, OAuth, rate limiting, and encryption.
