About the Role
Citi is seeking a motivated Java Full Stack Developer to join its technology team in Pune. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational experience in Java and Angular, and an eagerness to develop skills in cloud platforms, CI/CD practices, and Generative AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using Java and Angular frameworks.
- Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to implement new features.
- Participate in the application lifecycle with a focus on coding, debugging, and testing.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines for efficient, automated deployments.
- Integrate cloud-based services and optimize applications for cloud environments.
- Apply Generative AI concepts to improve application functionality or development processes.
- Work with relational databases like Oracle or NoSQL databases like MongoDB for designing and managing data models.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Proficiency in Java and familiarity with Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
- Experience with Angular (version 2+ preferred) and strong front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and core services.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Experience with Oracle or MongoDB databases.
- Exposure to Generative AI.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
