Job Summary
We are seeking a Worldwide Supply Planner to manage end-to-end global supply planning across a complex, multi-regional supply network. This role is crucial for ensuring product availability while optimizing inventory, cost, and service levels across various regions, manufacturing sites, and suppliers.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and other key stakeholders to convert demand signals into executable and optimized global supply plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain global supply plans that align with the approved demand forecast.
- Convert unconstrained demand into realistic, constrained supply plans, considering capacity, lead time, and material availability.
- Ensure alignment between global plans and regional execution.
- Optimize inventory positioning across regions to meet service level targets.
- Balance safety stock, inventory investment, and aging risk.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
- Identify constraints early and develop mitigation scenarios, such as reallocation, prioritization, and capacity ramp-ups.
- Act as a central integrator across demand planning, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and regional teams.
- Facilitate alignment among global and regional stakeholders.
- Lead or support Supply Review discussions within S&OP / IBP.
- Present supply risks, trade-offs, scenarios, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Translate executive decisions into executable supply plans.
- Proactively identify global supply risks including supplier, capacity, logistics, and geopolitical disruptions.
- Build and evaluate what-if scenarios to support decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze supply planning KPIs (service level, inventory turns, OTIF, plan adherence).
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and data accuracy.
- Support planning system enhancements and automation.
