Job Summary
HP is hiring a Software Systems Engineer 1 to contribute to the design and development of software systems across multiple platforms. The selected candidate will be involved in writing and executing test plans, debugging, coding modules, and integrating systems using modern technologies and programming languages.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems and application software.
- Develop software modules and components using appropriate programming tools and frameworks.
- Integrate systems with internal databases, APIs, and third-party services.
- Program enhancements and updates to system software including OS, networking, databases, utilities, etc.
- Execute test protocols, identify and debug issues in assigned code portions.
- Participate in design discussions and contribute to system-level requirements.
- Support the full lifecycle of services including deployment, operation, and optimization.
- Collaborate with internal and outsourced teams for software system development.
- Contribute to project teams working on cost-effective and high-quality engineering solutions.
Eligibility
- Eligible Batches: 2023, 2024, 2025
- Work Experience: 0 to 2 years
- Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Preferred Certifications
- Certified Software Systems Engineer (CSSE)
- Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)
