Job Summary

HP is seeking a Worldwide Supply Planner responsible for driving end-to-end global supply planning across a complex, multi‑regional network. The role focuses on maintaining product availability while optimizing inventory levels, cost efficiency, and service performance across regions, manufacturing locations, and supplier partners.

The selected candidate collaborates with teams including Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance to convert demand signals into actionable and optimized global supply plans.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain global supply plans aligned with approved demand forecasts.
  • Translate unconstrained demand into feasible supply plans by considering capacity, lead times, and material availability.
  • Maintain alignment between global planning strategies and regional execution.
  • Optimize inventory placement across regions to meet defined service level targets.
  • Balance safety stock levels, inventory investment, and potential aging risks.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to excess, obsolete, or slow‑moving inventory.
  • Assess manufacturing and supplier capacity against demand requirements.
  • Detect supply constraints early and develop mitigation strategies such as reallocation, prioritization, or capacity increases.
  • Assist with mid‑term and long‑term capacity planning initiatives.
  • Serve as a coordination point across demand planning, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and regional teams.
  • Facilitate collaboration and alignment between global and regional stakeholders.
  • Lead or contribute to Supply Review discussions as part of S&OP or IBP processes.
  • Present supply risks, trade-offs, and planning scenarios to senior leadership.
  • Convert executive decisions into executable supply plans.
  • Identify global supply risks including supplier issues, capacity limitations, logistics disruptions, or geopolitical factors.
  • Develop and assess scenario-based planning models to support decision-making.
  • Track and evaluate supply planning KPIs such as service levels, inventory turns, OTIF, and plan adherence.
  • Drive improvements in planning processes, tools, and data accuracy.
  • Support enhancements and automation initiatives within planning systems.

Education and Experience

A four-year degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field is recommended. Equivalent work experience or demonstrated competence may also be considered.

Typically requires 0–2 years of work experience, preferably in marketing, data analytics, or related domains.

Additional Requirements

  • Experience with planning systems such as SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP.
  • Ability to analyze supply planning data and support operational decision-making.
