Job Summary

This position supports financial management by analyzing, reporting, and reconciling financial and operational results. The role investigates variances against plans and provides recommendations to stakeholders. It participates in budgeting and forecasting processes while ensuring compliance with reporting standards and supports key internal projects.

Responsibilities

• Extract and analyze financial data, identify key financial drivers, and use analytics to deliver insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Perform detailed financial analysis for business units or functions, addressing financial issues and supporting important business initiatives.
• Provide input for monthly reviews of expenses and capital during budgeting and forecasting cycles, and analyze variances using operational insights.
• Interpret financial reports including forecasts, budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Develop an understanding of the organization’s financial processes and operational activities.
• Assist the business with book closing activities, analyze trends and variances, and prepare financial forecasts aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure adherence to reporting standards and corporate policies, maintaining accuracy and integrity in internal and external reports.
• Apply fundamental financial concepts while contributing to projects through research and data analysis, providing regular progress updates.
• Support priority initiatives while coordinating with internal stakeholders and sharing information through standardized reporting.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Typically requires 0 to 2 years of professional experience, preferably in financial management, accounting, internal audit, or related areas.
