Responsibilities

Honeywell is looking for a Software Engineer I for backend development with cloud technology expertise. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications and microservice-based solutions.

• Design and build advanced applications using REST APIs with C#.Net.
• Develop backend solutions and services using Python.
• Create and maintain microservice architectures.
• Work with relational and document databases including PostgreSQL and MongoDB/Cosmos DB.
• Write unit-tested code for reliability, edge cases, and usability.
• Use automated testing frameworks such as Xunit and Nunit.
• Manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including deployment, automation, and configuration.
• Collaborate with senior developers and architects to translate designs into code.
• Apply software engineering concepts such as OOP, SOLID principles, and architecture patterns.
• Work within Agile and Scrum-based development teams.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a feedback-driven mindset. Strong verbal and written communication skills are also expected.
