Key Responsibilities

Job purpose

• Provide engineering support to develop industry-leading technology and catalysts, support proposal and basic engineering work, assist with client training and commissioning, improve design methods, and investigate plant performance issues.

Principal accountabilities and scope

• Carry out process engineering design work, following company standards and procedures, to schedule and budget as advised by the Lead Engineer, Technology Manager or Project Manager.
• Prepare and take responsibility for the accuracy of detailed calculations, process engineering datasheets and drawings that specify the process requirements of the company's technologies.
• Stay current with the latest technical developments in your areas of expertise.
• Demonstrate, provide and develop suitable technical solutions for specific project issues.
• Support internal development and continuous improvement activities as required.
• Take a proactive approach to personal and professional development.
• Make sure health, safety, environmental and quality procedures are followed and a high standard of safety is maintained in all related work.
• Identify department and business improvement opportunities that strengthen the departmental offering.
• Give quality, competitive technical advice to internal and external customers and suppliers, and seek consultation as required.
• Build technical and commercial understanding of the company's technologies.
• Achieve and maintain chartered status with a recognised engineering body.
