Job Summary

This role focuses on handling customer queries over email or chat, keeping data accurate, monitoring quality, and spotting process improvements.

It is a desk-based, entry-level position managing the digital lifecycle of customer orders in the SAP ERP system. The Order Fulfillment Specialist makes sure orders are entered correctly, stock is allocated, and shipping requests are generated smoothly. There is no physical warehouse labor involved; the work centers on system navigation, data accuracy, and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Order Management

• Enter customer orders into SAP ERP with correct item codes, pricing, and quantities.
• Review system blocks (such as credit limits or delivery blocks) and escalate them to senior team members.
• Monitor order backlogs in SAP to find unfulfilled or delayed customer requests.

Inventory Allocation and Shipping Release

• Check stock availability across plant locations and warehouses using SAP inventory tracking transactions.
• Create delivery documents in SAP to trigger picking and packing at fulfillment centers.
• Generate billing blocks or adjustments when stock shortages prevent full order shipment.

Logistics Coordination

• Communicate digital order releases to warehouse operations and third-party logistics (3PL) teams.
• Track order statuses in SAP from "Order Created" to "Goods Issued" and "Shipped."
• Provide accurate delivery dates and tracking data to sales and customer service teams.

Skill Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce (B.Com), or a related field.

Experience: 0-1 years (Fresher).

SAP Knowledge: Basic classroom knowledge, certification, or internship exposure to SAP ERP (modules such as SD or MM) is highly preferred.
