Job Description
HARMAN International is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our engineering team in Bangalore. This is an exciting opportunity for students and fresh graduates passionate about technology, especially in the automotive and embedded systems domains. As a Software Engineering Intern, you’ll learn to contribute to real-world projects, sharpen your coding skills, and become familiar with industry-standard development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn to develop software solutions using C, C++, Java, or other languages on the Android platform.
- Gain understanding of Android application fundamentals.
- Learn to use debugging tools, emulators, and simulators to test and verify software performance.
- Participate in software release cycles and quality assurance activities.
- Collaborate with team members and actively contribute in a work-from-office environment.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive trends and best practices to continuously improve your engineering capabilities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong foundational knowledge in C, C++, Java, Android Development, Embedded Systems
- A keen interest in mobile and automotive technology domains
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and work effectively in a collaborative team setting
- Positive attitude and commitment to work-from-office
Preferred Qualifications
- Good academic track record
- Previous internship or project experience in embedded or Android systems is a plus
- Exposure to debugging and testing tools is desirable
