Role and Responsibilities

As an IT Intern, you will:

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networking systems
• Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware issues
• Monitor IT infrastructure including servers and networks to ensure smooth operations
• Work collaboratively to identify and implement IT solutions that boost team productivity
• Carry out routine system maintenance such as updates, backups, and security patches
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights as per company protocols
• Maintain accurate logs of technical support incidents and their resolutions
• Support audiovisual setups for meetings and presentations
• Help develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation
• Evaluate and recommend hardware/software improvements when required
• Stay informed about industry trends and new technologies
• Assist in implementing cybersecurity protocols and best practices
• Provide internal training and guidance on IT systems and tools
• Help with procurement of IT equipment and inventory management
• Keep records of hardware, software licenses, and IT assets updated

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a closely related field
• Basic knowledge of operating systems including Windows, MacOS, and Linux
• Familiarity with network troubleshooting, configuration, and support
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Customer-first attitude with attention to detail
• Prior experience in IT support or help desk roles is preferred
• Certifications like MCP, JamF, or Google IT Support are an added advantage
