Position Overview

As a Graduate Trainee, you will work closely with the security engineering and threat intelligence teams to support the development, validation, and research of network intrusion detection capabilities. Your work will contribute to enhancing threat detection signatures, researching emerging threats, and improving internal threat intelligence processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with threat researchers and security engineers to analyze network-based attacks and create detection logic.
• Perform packet-level analysis using PCAPs and tools such as Wireshark or Zeek.
• Assist in developing and testing detection signatures for IPS/NIDS systems.
• Participate in building internal tools for research workflow automation using Python.
• Conduct open-source intelligence (OSINT) gathering for emerging threats, IoCs, and TTPs.
• Prepare technical documentation, threat reports, and playbooks.
• Engage in technical discussions during all phases of threat research and signature development.
• Assist in simulating attack scenarios to validate detection capabilities.
