Job Overview
Calix is seeking a motivated Graduate Trainee - Java / J2EE to join our Bangalore team. In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts in the cloud domain to enhance and expand our in-house test automation framework. Your contributions will directly impact productivity and test coverage across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cloud SMEs to write, conduct unit testing, and perform integration testing for new functionalities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation to support developed features.
- Add enhancements to existing frameworks.
- Participate in technical discussions and reviews during all phases of the SDLC, including requirements analysis, design documentation, peer reviews, test planning, and QA support.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Python, and C programming languages.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Understanding of unit testing principles and methodologies.
- Knowledge of computer programming concepts, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with source control tools like GIT.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, or Electronics & Telecommunications. Candidates should have graduated in 2024 or 2025.
