As a Graduate Apprentice Trainee, you will contribute to daily production operations, data management, live-time monitoring, and process improvement activities, learning and applying lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Purpose

Support production operations through effective data handling, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. Apply lean principles to eliminate inefficiencies and ensure process stability.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying and eliminating Muri, Mura, and Muda within the assembly line.
  • Manage live production data in coordination with Team Leaders and Production Leaders.
  • Collect and analyze data related to quality issues and ANDON triggers to aid root cause analysis.
  • Support video study analysis to optimize workflow and reduce cycle time.
  • Contribute to production digitalization strategies.
  • Assist in safety initiatives, reporting hazards, and participating in risk assessments.
  • Track and update WIP vehicle status and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Conduct daily Gemba walks to identify abnormalities.
  • Assist quality teams in random inspection activities.
  • Maintain KPI/PI data and prepare performance reports.
  • Participate in trials, validations, and process improvement implementations.

Required Qualifications

  • B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering with at least 60% marks.

Key Competencies

  • Technical & Analytical Skills: Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze production and quality data.
  • Knowledge of lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and waste elimination techniques.
  • Process improvement mindset with adaptability and eagerness to learn.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Positive attitude, goal-oriented, and flexible approach.
  • Strong analytical capability.

Working Relationships

Collaborate with logistics, quality, and maintenance teams, as well as production leaders and team leaders within the plant.
