Your Impact

The Fees and Commissions team is looking for an experienced negotiator to support brokerage rate negotiations from start to finish. The role calls for a collaborative team player who can handle complex financial discussions, align internal teams around shared goals, and carry out negotiation strategies smoothly. You will work with external vendors and internal teams (finance, technology and sales) to set competitive pricing that improves client service and supports firm profitability.

Operations partners with all areas of the firm to deliver capabilities to clients, provide risk management and enhance the firm's PnL and reputation across product lines and markets.

Fees & Commissions collects the firm's income, fees and interest, and pays the firm's transaction expenses. The team supports both client and proprietary business and uses data-based decision making to keep the firm profitable and adaptable to market changes. Responsibilities include accurate rate calculations across millions of trades, charge validations, reconciliations, direct money movements, cost allocations, system developments, regulatory updates and analytics aimed at optimizing the firm's PnL. The team uses Alteryx, Tableau and SQL to support data-driven decisions.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

• Analyze market trends and pricing to inform negotiation strategies and keep positioning competitive.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to support successful negotiations.
• Develop tailored fee proposals based on client trading volumes, strategies and market conditions.
• Assist in negotiation conversations with sales teams and external vendors.
• Advise sales teams and client service representatives on fee-related matters.
• Monitor negotiated fee structures and identify opportunities for further optimization or renegotiation.
• Mentor and train junior team members, building a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Take part in team initiatives and help develop best practices in negotiation and client engagement.
