Description
GlobalLogic is seeking Mechanical and Civil Engineering freshers who have knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, and GIS tools to join the Indoor Mapping team. The role focuses on working with CAD drawings, interpreting floor plans, and producing accurate indoor maps using GIS technologies.
Requirements
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, QGIS or ArcGIS, and Adobe Illustrator with the ability to read and interpret CAD files and floor plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail and basic computer proficiency.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills along with interpersonal and coaching abilities.
- B.Tech degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (Provisional Certificate and Consolidated Marks Memo required).
- Willingness to work from the office and in rotational shifts (5 working days and 2 weekly offs).
- Ready to join immediately.
Job Responsibilities
- Read and interpret CAD files and floor plans.
- Create, digitize, and maintain indoor maps using GIS tools.
- Maintain map accuracy and ensure timely delivery aligned with SLA standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and take part in project discussions.
- Improve workflows, generate reports, and contribute to process improvements.
