Job Description
Global Payments is hiring Associate Software Engineers to support the software development lifecycle across front-end and back-end platforms. The role involves developing, coding, testing, debugging, and implementing software solutions with a broad understanding of application architecture and programming languages. You will be part of a flexible, team-oriented environment and contribute to both internal and external client-facing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop basic code using front-end or back-end languages under supervision
- Follow programming specifications to build or support applications
- Assist in documentation, code testing, validation, and debugging
- Participate in the development of application implementation plans
- Ensure compliance with Payment Card Industry (PCI) security standards
- Learn and apply company procedures and methodologies to software projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related field
- No prior work experience required
- Basic understanding of at least two modern programming languages
- Exposure to APIs, external services, and both relational and NoSQL databases
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional experience in software development, analysis, and coding
- Experience in creating and designing scalable solutions

- Familiarity with development tools and processes
- Ability to work on problems of limited scope using standard procedures
- Strong interpersonal and internal collaboration skills
- Adaptability to follow detailed instructions and guidelines
