Job Description Summary

The Graduate Engineer Trainee will mainly design and develop electronic hardware for High Frequency High Voltage Generators used in X-Ray generation applications. The role focuses on design improvements, quality, cost, productivity and reliability.

This position sits within the Electrical and Power electronics design and development engineering team, working on X-Ray Generation Engineering at GEBEL. The selected candidate will report to the XGEN and Power Electrical Engineering Manager at GEBEL, Bengaluru.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Apply hands-on understanding of electrical and electronics engineering basics, including schematics and circuit diagrams, electrical circuit preparation, component selection, PCB and assembly drawing creation, circuit analysis and simulation, and Cadence tools.
• Support the team with documentation required for regulatory and quality standard compliance.
• Support the install base engineering team with field data analysis and field failure analysis, and update the database tool.
• Support structuring of the Engineering Bill of Materials and design change activities through the Engineering Change Control Board.
• Work with the engineering team on part development, electrical test fixture development, part inspection and testing.
• Support engineers in the lab in setting up experiments, carrying out planned tests and recording results.
• Support verification, validation and root cause analysis activities, and prepare related reports and the DHF (design history file).
