Job Overview
Virtusa is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The role involves providing essential Information Security administration services, with a focus on Access Management and Active Directory operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage user access administration, including creation and maintenance of group mailboxes, distribution lists, and network shared folder access.
- Perform Active Directory group creation, modification, and deletion.
- Handle Windows Server access requests and Unix-based provisioning tasks.
- Generate and share customer and security reports with the team.
- Identify automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot access-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with domestic and offshore teams across India, Ireland, and the USA.
- Adapt to dynamic workloads and assist other teams as required.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Active Directory, ServiceNow, and Putty.
- Basic Unix knowledge and familiarity with ITIL concepts.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Customer-focused approach with attention to detail.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of NT systems and Identity Access Management (IAM) processes.
- Experience with database management, PowerShell scripting, and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 0-2 years of experience in Access Management or related security operations.
