About the Role
Fortrea is looking for an Apprentice - Website Designer (Drupal) to join our Marketing & Digital Team in Bangalore. This role involves executing small to mid-size web design tasks and managing updates on our Drupal-based website. The position blends creative design work with hands-on CMS management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Tasks:
- Create static assets for web use, including banners, hero images, promotional graphics, and landing page visuals.
- Assist in minor UI improvements, such as adjusting component padding, alignment, and spacing.
- Website & CMS (Drupal) Management:
- Perform daily website content updates using Drupal CMS.
- Upload and format blogs, events, insights, whitepapers, case studies, and podcasts.
- Add metadata, OG tags, alt tags, and internal links as required.
- Manage component-based page layouts using paragraphs, blocks, or layout builder.
- SEO & Optimization:
- Implement SEO recommendations, including updating title tags, meta descriptions, headers (H1-H6), and internal links.
- Quality Assurance:
- Test pages across major browsers and screen sizes before publishing updates.
Who We’re Looking For
We seek a motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive individual with a strong interest in web design and digital marketing. The ideal candidate should work well in a team, bring fresh ideas, and have strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualifications
- 0–1 year of experience with Drupal or WordPress-based websites (Drupal 9 or 10 preferred).
- Experience managing content in a componentized CMS structure.
- Web design experience using Figma or Adobe XD.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
