About the Team
This is a one year remote paid apprenticeship within the Global Technology Transformation Office. Apprentices collaborate with experienced IT Infrastructure and Operations teams and support ongoing technology transformation initiatives.
The role provides exposure to modern technology areas such as end user and cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, technical project management, and agile software development. The program also includes mentorship, career development activities, team challenges, and real world project exposure.
Apprenticeship Responsibilities
- Participate in entry level departmental activities in accordance with Fortrea or sponsor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support initiatives focused on modern workplace and user experience technology transformation.
- Assist with projects related to technical debt reduction and application modernization.
- Contribute to the development of a Cloud Center of Excellence.
- Support sustainability initiatives within the IT Service Operations Center of Excellence.
- Assist with DevOps and intelligent automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with teams within the Technology Transformation Office.
The position operates within a home based work environment and offers opportunities to learn new tools, contribute to improvement initiatives, and gain exposure to enterprise technology operations.
