India Apprentice Program
Fortrea’s Early Careers program is designed to help emerging talent gain practical exposure and develop professional skills. As an Apprentice – HR Technology Analyst, you will work with a global team that values curiosity, motivation, and new ideas. The program provides hands-on project experience, mentorship from experienced professionals, and structured development to help you build a foundation for your career.
You will contribute to projects that support clinical research and healthcare innovation while learning how technology enables HR processes across the organization.
About the Team
The HR Technology team collaborates with HR stakeholders to convert business requirements into effective technology solutions supporting people processes across the company. The team advises on HR technology requests, assists with HR application implementation and enhancements, and ensures consistent execution of IT service and governance practices.
Working closely with the HRIS team, the group maintains reliable, compliant, and scalable HR systems that support efficient operations and improve the employee experience.
Apprenticeship Summary
This apprenticeship is intended for a recent graduate interested in HR systems, analytics, and technology-driven processes. The role provides hands-on experience in supporting HR platforms, data reporting, and technology-enabled workflows within a global and regulated environment.
You will collaborate with HR Technology specialists to understand how HR systems are implemented, maintained, and optimized to support the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
HR Technology Support and Learning
- Learn how HR technology supports processes such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, and employee data management.
- Assist with HR application renewal activities including requirements gathering and usage analysis.
Process Improvement and Automation
- Observe and support initiatives that streamline HR processes through automation and technology.
- Help document current and future HR workflows.
- Suggest improvements that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
Reporting and Analytics
- Support the creation and maintenance of HR reports and dashboards.
- Learn how metrics such as headcount, turnover rates, and recruiting indicators are collected and used for decision-making.
- Assist with ad hoc data requests and perform basic analysis using Excel or HR reporting tools.
User Support and Training
- Provide basic assistance to HR team members and system users with HR technology questions.
- Escalate complex issues to senior team members when required.
Project and Change Support
- Assist with HR technology initiatives including system enhancements, feature releases, and process updates.
- Learn fundamental change management practices such as communication planning and user training.
Compliance and Security Awareness
- Gain familiarity with compliance requirements related to HR data and systems including GDPR, HIPAA, and 21 CFR Part 11.
- Follow established procedures to ensure employee data is handled securely and in accordance with regulations and company policies.
- Learn IT standards and contribute to maintaining compliance across HR systems.
Education and Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Additional Information: Fresh graduates with academic projects or internships involving HR systems, data, or technology are encouraged to apply. Prior HRIS administration experience is not required as the apprenticeship focuses on learning and development.
This role is remote based with a five day work schedule as directed by the line manager and is offered as a one year fixed term apprenticeship.
