Job Description

Purpose of the Role

The role focuses on managing financial operations while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of financial reporting across the organisation.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements and accounting records in accordance with applicable accounting standards, rules, and regulations.
• Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks, and report these risks to senior colleagues.
• Develop and maintain strong internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure financial data accuracy, including regular reviews to address weaknesses or gaps.
• Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to promote consistent financial practices across the organisation.
• Assist with the selection, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems and software, working with IT teams to integrate finance systems with enterprise platforms.
• Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory reports to authorities, and support other departments in preparing and reviewing regulatory filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and examinations.
