EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a truly global delivery network operating across 6 countries and 16 cities, with over 50,000 professionals providing strategic business solutions across borders. GDS is an integral part of EY’s global strategy and plays a key role in innovation and transformation across multiple industries.
Functional Areas in Consulting
1. Digital Technologies
- Build cloud-native, open-source digital solutions
- Skills required: UI Development, Experience Design, Design Thinking, Full Stack Development (Java/.Net/SharePoint), Cloud, DevSecOps, and emerging tech like Blockchain and IoT
2. Testing Services
- Deliver quality assurance through functional and user acceptance testing
- Focus on robust product delivery via strong process and technical understanding
3. Data & Analytics
- Expertise in Data Management, Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, and AI
- Key differentiators: Cross-sector knowledge, cloud platforms, and predictive models
4. Oracle
- Involvement in end-to-end implementation using Oracle and IBM tools
- Technology stack: SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Python, Oracle Utilities, IBM Maximo
5. SAP
- Focus on digital transformation using SAP S/4HANA
- Services include strategy, architecture, deployment, and governance (GRC Technology)
6. Banking & Capital Markets
- Digital transformation of banking platforms using AI, ML, cloud-native systems
- Includes work on deposit, lending, and leasing modernization systems
7. Wealth & Asset Management
- Tech-enabled operational efficiency programs
- Use of AI, Blockchain, and automation to enhance front and back-office platforms
8. Insurance Transformation
- End-to-end services to insurers and brokers
- Application of technologies like IoT, Blockchain, and automation for business transformation
9. Cyber Security
- Assist clients in understanding and managing cyber risk
- Services include privacy protection, digital resilience, and secure transformation
10. Technology Risk
- Perform IT risk assessment and assurance
- Contribute to integrated risk management, audit, and governance services
