About this opportunity
Ericsson is looking for a Software Developer specializing in Automation and AI. In this role, you will help build intelligent and automated customer solutions during the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
You will work on detailed designs for automation and AI-driven application components based on Systems Analyst specifications. The position also involves software development, testing support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver automation solutions.
What you will do
- Develop and integrate software components with a focus on automation and AI capabilities
- Design and implement automation frameworks and scripts for testing and deployment pipelines
- Contribute to AI/ML component development and model integration within applications
- Participate in component and system testing with emphasis on automation testing scenarios
- Follow software development best practices, including Agile methodology and CI/CD processes
- Create automation assets and AI-driven solutions
- Work with senior developers to improve automation workflows and AI implementations
- Document automation processes, code, and technical best practices for knowledge sharing
The skills you bring
- Python programming for scripting and automation
- Experience with automation frameworks, process automation, and RPA tools
- CI/CD pipeline development using Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Sonar, and Helm
- Front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or related frameworks
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and model integration
- Knowledge of component testing, system testing, software vulnerability management, and test automation
- Awareness of application security, IT security, and DevSecOps practices
- Understanding of Security Reliability Model (SRM) principles
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
- Linux and Unix fundamentals
- Interest in learning emerging technologies
