Job Description
We are hiring Apprentice Software Engineers who are at the beginning of their engineering career. This role is structured to support you with clearly defined tasks, guidance from experienced engineers, and opportunities to build technical and domain knowledge in a collaborative Agile environment.
Responsibilities
Professional Responsibilities
- Participate in the implementation of software development standards, practices, and processes to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
- Align with the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Target Operating Model (TOM)
- Strive for engineering excellence through use of analysis tools, peer reviews, and productivity improvements
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to adoption within the team
- Actively engage in continuous learning and knowledge management practices
- Participate in design and quality reviews to foster innovation and efficiency
- Escalate and document design or feature-related issues to ensure timely resolution and delivery
Technical Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, document, and refactor simple software programs and scripts
- Apply agreed-upon engineering tools and standards to produce well-structured solutions
- Perform self-reviews and maintain code quality
