Job Description
As a Trainee Data Scientist, you'll be instrumental in providing analytical solutions for Retail Bank Marketing and Risk Analytics in India and the Middle East. You'll work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver actionable data insights that help consumers manage their financial well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to predict credit risk, customer behavior, and fraud patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable data insights.
- Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Ensure data integrity through thorough data cleaning and validation processes.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and apply them to solve complex business problems.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Statistical and Machine Learning Techniques: Solid understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms (regression, classification, clustering).
- Data Manipulation and Analysis: Expertise in SQL, Python, and data manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy) for cleaning and analyzing large datasets.
- Problem-solving Skills: Strong ability to break down complex problems and derive actionable insights from data.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
