About the Internship
Deutsche Bank is offering an exciting opportunity for interns to join the F2B Transformation team within the CB IB Operations & Control division. This team is central to executing strategic transformation initiatives that enhance client experience, improve controls, and support the bank's top front-to-back alignment priorities.
As part of the inaugural intern cohort in this area, you will contribute to building capabilities in data engineering, analytics, and process optimization, while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across the bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in setting up centers of excellence for process re-engineering, automation, and data analytics
- Analyze data to build reusable and scalable assets
- Develop data models to join fragmented datasets and drive business insights
- Generate actionable recommendations based on data trends
- Support the design and implementation of target operating models for critical processes
- Collaborate with global functional leads to improve client experience, risk frameworks, and operational efficiency
- Ensure transformation is delivered with proper change management, testing, and compliance with regulatory standards
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong knowledge in data analysis and modeling
- Familiarity with tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and SQL
- Ability to create insights from data and recommend improvements
- Understanding of data quality dimensions such as consistency, completeness, and lineage
- Basic awareness of data security practices in public cloud environments
- Solid skills in Microsoft Excel (including financial modeling), PowerPoint, and general data presentation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
