Job Description
The Trade Finance Operations team manages a range of products including Letters of Credit, Collections, and Bank Guarantees. Team members are exposed to multiple trade products and operational processes, offering continuous learning opportunities within trade finance.
Employees receive training and guidance from subject matter experts to build knowledge of trade products and operational procedures. The role provides exposure to different trade finance activities and encourages ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions related to Collections, Letters of Credit, and Bank Guarantees as part of the trade operations delivery hub while meeting agreed customer service level agreements.
- Monitor and review outstanding transactions and ensure timely processing.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, operational manuals, and regulatory or audit requirements.
- Work closely with branch operations and sales teams to maintain strong operational support and coordination.
Skills and Experience
- Understanding of trade finance rules and guidelines issued by the International Chamber of Commerce such as ICC, UCP, and URC.
- Knowledge of legal, credit, and operational risks associated with trade products and services.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
- Willingness to work in late night shifts when required.
