Role Overview
You will join the TPM Operations team within the Global Procurement division. The team supports the Third Party Management (TPM) process, a cross functional framework used to identify, assess, mitigate, and track risks associated with the bank’s vendor portfolio.
The TPM Operations team provides first level operational support for the TPM process and works closely with internal stakeholders and vendors across the organization.
Team Responsibilities
- The TPM process is a cross functional risk management approach designed to identify, assess, mitigate, and track risks related to the organization’s vendor ecosystem.
- The operations team provides global operational support to stakeholders involved in the TPM process.
- The team manages processes and procedures that support the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework and related requirements.
- Activities include collecting evidence and questionnaires from internal service relationship owners and vendors, performing quality checks before review, collaborating with assessment teams and second line risk functions, and tracking progress to ensure timely completion.
The team uses multiple tools and analytical approaches to generate insights across procurement activities such as third party risk, contracting, spend analysis, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with internal service relationship owners and external vendors to drive the TPM process forward.
- Perform operational tasks linked to service and vendor assessments, requiring interpretation of information and review of medium to high complexity data.
- Analyze information to identify potential violations and ensure adherence to established procedures and internal guidelines.
- Work on processes that require detailed judgment and interpretation while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
- Support the achievement of TPM quality thresholds and internal deadlines, ensuring compliance with regulatory and audit expectations.
- Handle escalated issues for investigation and support the implementation of appropriate measures.
Skills and Experience
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Economics, or Law from an accredited university.
- Understanding of Vendor Risk Management principles and related practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience managing deadlines and working within tight timelines.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts across TPM and risk teams in a multicultural environment.
- Comfort working with international teams and communicating effectively in English.
