Job Title: Clearing and Settlement Analyst, AS

Location: Jaipur, India

Role Description

• An Associate manages the day to day production and processing activities within the Trade Services business.
• The role may operate across various Trade Services processes including Settlement, Matching, Fails, Instructions, Registered Shares, Confirmation, Cancellations, Reconciliation, Transaction Reporting, or Trade Investigation. The analyst is expected to understand their core process and be cross trained across related activities.
• Responsibilities include ensuring tasks are completed according to agreed standards and timelines using appropriate tools and techniques. This also involves supporting MIS reporting and handling exceptions efficiently.
• The position provides support to the Manager and serves as a point of reference for team members, management, and other stakeholders.
• The role requires strong team support capabilities, interpersonal interaction, and customer relation skills. Effective organization, prioritization, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities are important.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Maintain strong domain knowledge and remain actively involved in daily operational production.
• Provide reporting updates to clients and internal management.
• Escalate exceptional issues to internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Ensure service levels are consistently achieved and aim to exceed established targets.
• Coordinate with training teams and senior members to keep documentation, processes, and procedures updated.
• Plan and manage training activities to ensure team members are properly trained.
• Support continuous coaching and maintain development plans for team leaders and staff.
• Strengthen productivity processes and contribute to productivity improvements.
• Oversee quality control activities within the team and drive continuous quality improvements.
• Monitor, measure, and report operational performance, opportunities, and improvement plans.
• Promote awareness and adherence to the escalation matrix.
• Manage the allocation and prioritization of work, and adjust assignments when necessary.

Key Performance Indicators

• Meet service level agreement performance indicators across all processes.
• Consistently achieve or exceed timeline targets.
• Maintain and exceed defined quality standards.
• Ensure queries are raised within the defined turnaround time.
• Create and maintain MIS reports and tracking sheets.
• Provide suggestions for process improvements.
• Conduct quality checks as part of operational oversight.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Postgraduate degree.
