Job Title: Private Banking Business Finance
Corporate Title: Analyst
This role supports the Business Finance function for the Private Bank (PB) franchise. The position manages various divisional finance activities and works closely with the PB CFO, COOs, and business managers across hub locations.
The analyst is responsible for multiple business finance tasks including month end ledger close, journal postings, P&L reporting, revenue flash and actual reporting, balance sheet substantiation, and financial disclosures.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce, validate, report, and analyze P&L information including month end financial statements, substantiation, and regulatory disclosures in line with internal policies and statutory frameworks.
- Assist in preparing Revenue Flash reports and provide explanations for variances against prior trends and actuals during the ledger close cycle.
- Collaborate with business managers across regions and business units to explain performance drivers, cyclical changes, and episodic events impacting results.
- Support month end ledger postings, FX exposure monitoring, financial disclosures, and balance sheet substantiation activities.
- Assist in maintaining key financial controls and supporting audit related requirements.
Skills and Experience
- Commerce graduate or MBA in Finance with specialization in financial accounting and reporting.
- Strong desktop productivity and presentation capabilities.
- Ability to interact with business leaders and stakeholders.
- Experience working in diverse teams and cross cultural environments.
