Deloitte Hiring Consultant Business Analyst (Hyderabad / Gurugram) | Tax Transformation

Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited began operations in June 2004. Since then, nearly all Deloitte Tax LLP ("Deloitte Tax") U.S. service lines have received support from Deloitte Tax in India, which offers opportunities to learn U.S. taxation.

Deloitte leads clients through the tax transformation taking place in the marketplace. We offer a broad range of fully integrated tax services and combine technology with tax technical resources to uncover insights and smarter solutions in an increasingly complex global environment.

Work you'll do

As a Business Analyst, you will create documentation including requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, feature descriptions, PowerPoint decks, user guides, process flows, wireframes and newsletters.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Assisting the Product Owner in leading, directing, and reviewing activities associated with delivering technology products.
• Working collaboratively with Tax Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), technical teams and project managers on development projects across all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Conducting Design Thinking sessions to understand application user needs, managing the Product Backlog, and working with the Product Owner to prioritize requirements and define and manage scope and sprints.
• Providing operational support to tax practitioners and engaging with various teams to resolve problems as they arise.

Teams

The Tax Transformation (TTO) team at Deloitte Tax LLP is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of tax tools for the US Tax Practice. The team supports efficient, high-quality client services and consults and executes on a wide range of initiatives involving tax technology management, tool development and implementation.

Location and shift

Location: Hyderabad and Gurugram

Shift time: 11 am to 8 pm or 2 pm to 11 pm

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, or relevant educational or professional experience
• 3-6 years of related experience. Tax industry experience is a plus.
• Good to have accreditation such as BA Certification.
• Advanced written, verbal, analytical and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship skills.
• Basic client interaction skills.
• Ability to coordinate and work effectively with teammates, end-users and leadership.

Preferred

• Working knowledge of analytics, Alteryx, PowerBI.
• Data management, statistics, accounting, and computer applications.
• Knowledge and experience with tax compliance systems or financial systems.
