Position Summary

Job Title: Analyst / Associate Analyst, Shared Services Center (SSC) | USI GPS Enabling Areas

The USI GPS Enabling Areas team is part of Deloitte’s Enabling Areas function. The group supports financial and operational excellence for the Government and Public Services (GPS) industry across US regions.

This is an entry level campus hire role within the Shared Services Center. The position serves as a development platform focused on building technical and professional skills while supporting practitioners through standardized, transactional, analytical, and automation ready work across finance and contracts related processes.

Work You Will Do

  • Develop an understanding of standard process deliverables, apply self review and quality checks, and participate in internal training programs.
  • Support engagement finance and operational processes including time and expense management, billing, accounts receivable, reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Assist with financial analysis and reporting, project accounting, and engagement support activities such as budgeting, forecasting, vendor coordination, and contracts related tasks when assigned.
  • Contribute to activities related to compliance, procurement, contractual obligations, and security requirements where applicable.
  • Collaborate with teams both within and outside the Shared Services Center while using standard tools and processes to deliver accurate and timely outputs.
  • Identify opportunities for standardization and automation and contribute to data and insight related initiatives when required.
  • Act on feedback and participate in new initiatives that support improvements for the practice and the broader team.

Qualifications and Skills

Education

  • Master’s degree (MBA or PGDM) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, 2025 graduates with 0 to 1 year of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Com or BBA) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, 2024 or 2025 graduates with 0 to 2 years of experience.

Academic Criteria

  • Minimum 60 percent aggregate or equivalent CGPA across all academic qualifications.
  • No active backlogs or arrears at the time of application.

Preferred Experience

  • Internship, project, or work exposure in accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, or similar areas.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Understanding of financial accounting concepts including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
  • Familiarity with professional services metrics and performance indicators.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exposure to Power BI, data analytics, or AI related tools is considered an advantage.
